Acronis - Backups

At work, we are changing the network and want to put better backups in place.

So we are looking for a app that does the following.

Basically we all work from a central server in the office.

We want to run a backup from a spare pc, this backs up the server to a usb drive on the spare pc in the office, we also want it to backup to a drive (that uses ftp) off site, at my boss house at the same time (if poss).

Can Acronis do this?

I'm not sure I'd be totally comfortable recommending Acronis atm, Paul. IAC, I'm not aware of the ability to backup to anything other than a physical drive - but then I've not been looking for that functionality.

I have used TI10 as single pc backup/restore for vista and xp over a local network without issue,it is said to be able to do similar to an FTP server although never had the chance to try it.TI11 seems to have problems and both are not entirely happy in some situations to restore vista and XPsp3. TI10 can be had for about £17 but its ability to restore must be checked.

could you look at the more business orientated acronis ti products, which are designed for backups over networks etc?
