Hi guys,

im thinking of migrating over to IDNet. I have a couple of computers and an xbox360 connected to my network, so im a bit worried about the down load limits in place, as I dont have a clue how much the family downloads a month.

Is there a fare use policy in place so I can get my kids to download through the night or does the 30gig include MB down loaded through the night ?

Also is there a control panel that tells me how much has been downloaded ?

Thanks in advance

Jakarra

Download netmeter here it will give you an idea of how much you are using - http://readerror.gmxhome.de/

No fair user policy in place .
Uploads are not counted towards your total .

Yes you have a customer account you can log into to see your usage, i would recommend you keep netmeter on the pc its more detailed and you can set it to tell you you are getting close to your max allowance e.t.c.

Does that apply on all accounts?

I am also on 8MB package @ £ 17.99 for 2GB + £1 a Gig.

Perhaps as a suggestion it should be clarified on the web site.

Though, unless it has changed significantly, it will need to be run on both computers and will also count any LAN traffic. :(
