I can't for the life of me find a file which it's offering to run right now, but the screen shot below shows the dialogue, on some file/sites the open becomes a run... Or, of course, I'm going mad! )

Yes, some files, I think it's EXEs, offer me a run option.

it looks really good for people with kids. Works pretty well once you get used to the interface.
