What is your downstream sync speed, attenuation and noise margin.

What else is plugged into the phone line. How long a lead do you have between the phone socket and the router?

As Rik says, the stats would be good. It'll be useful to see if the stats are just poor or whether you're suffering from noise spikes.

Do you have a master socket with a removable lower panel?

hi
does this help. Its usually around teatime, but I'll leave it on all day tomorrow and see what happens.
regards

Firstly, you shouldn't be on a fixed 2Mb service with that attenuation. We have seen a fair amount of this, where it has been commissioned when it shouldn't.

The noise margin isn't great for a fixed service, a lot of which will be because of what I said above. That said, it doesn't seem low enough to cause a re-sync daily.

Do you have a master socket with a removable lower panel? If so, could you carefully remove it and connect the router to the socket behind it, then re-post your stats? :)

Rik

I agree with Sebby, you are on the wrong package. Now we need to see if we can help you to find more stability. That said, your attenuation is 54db, mine is 57db and I manage a 3Mbps profile on Max, so it does strongly suggest massive noise pickup, either nternally of externally.
