How is you connection performing?  Do you have constant line drops or is it steady - i.e. if you didn't have the graph would you think you had a problem?
Are there any other symptoms of line trouble?

Do you get that all the time or is it a recent one-off?

What are your line stats?

Are you new to Max and just training, or have you been on it a while?

A lot of packet loss isn't normal or desirable, but it may not be a regular thing, and I wouldn't have thought a lot could be made of it without the other detail.

hi
this is the complete graph for yesterday.

ive had this problem for some time now, ive been on max for approx 6 weeks and longer if i add the time i spent with another isp.

Ive been with idnet for 6 months now, but before i was on the 2 meg fixed, so i dont have any test results when i was on a 2 meg fixed service.

my line stats are as follows:

Statistics Downstream             Upstream
Line Rate 3200                        800
Noise Margin 6.4 dB                 6.0 dB
Line Attenuation 51.0 dB         31.5 dB
Output Power 11.9 dBm           17.5 dBm

ive noticed this problem alot, pages seem slow too load sometimes, the router is in the master socket, and has a bt filtered faceplate fitted too the master socket.
i do get some disconnections now and again (maybe 1 disconnection every 2 days approx)

if anyone has some graphs like this please post them.
thx

Hi
I'm not sure if this is bad enough to be out of the ordinary for Max.  I know that it does vary with time of day, though I've never bothered monitoring my own packet loss, just SNR margin which goes from 6dB at 6am to negative after teatime. The router resyncs without dropping connection on several days a week because of this. But on a public network, you're never going to get perfect performance.

I found this thread which may be of interest to you.

If you're not happy and you can rule out problems with your router, I'd ring support and discuss it with them.
