I'm drowning in it!

I use Outlook2003 with the junk filters set to high but I'm still getting 900+ junk emails a week >:(

I was looking at this http://www.idnet.net/securemail.jsp but have to be honest I don't understand what it does or how it works or even if it what I need!

I have several different pop3 email addys so would like all thses covered/protected & I don't really want to have to download the spam either so I would either need a service or something like that?

Mailwasher is a reliable little program, free, that lets you delete mail from the server without downloading it.  I have run it for years without any trouble

The IDNet securemail is a filtered mailbox. The filtering of spam and viruses is done completely automatically and you have to do nothing whatsoever. You have no control over the settings and spam simply does not reach you.

This is good, because it needs no maintenance at all. No searching through hordes of spam to find false-positives.

And that's what's discomforting about it too. You don't have a clue if there have been any false-positives either.

I tried it for a month or so (at a cost of £4 per month per mailbox) and yes, my delivered spam levels went down to almost zero. But there was no way of checking your spam folder for false-positives, because the is no spam folder.

I was getting a few spam messages each day and used Mailwasher - the version that also dealt with Hotmail - 2b28. I recently changed my e-mail to Mozilla Thunderbird and find it better than OE. It soon gets to recognise junk and puts them in the junk box.
