Changelog (against v. 4.2 beta):
• Fixed issues with HTTP scanner and long domain names
• Fixed issue with scan profile settings not retained after reinstallation
• Fixed issue with SysInspector logs not retained after upgrade from older builds
• Fixed issue with system freezing on Lenovo notebooks
• Fixed termination of scan tasks when logged in as standard user
• Fixed issue with opening SysInspector logs on Windows NT
• Fixed issue with saving SysInspector logs and service scripts on Windows NT
• Fixes for other minor issues

just checked mine im still on 3.0.695  :o   how do you upgrade this again.do you not a notice when doing the database update

Check at www.eset.co.uk for the latest version of your software. Download and run the install, some upgrades can be run over your existing install,others require you to un-install then install the new version.

Also check at www.wilderssecurity.com for any comments/issues with the latest versions.

Just upgraded 1x Win7 64bit PC all went smoothly and there is a noticeable difference in the speed of the machine. Off to do 2 more now.

All done......... 2 x 64bit Win7 and 1x 32bit Win7. No issues upgrading and all are more responsive with this upgrade.

I updated NOD32 to the 64bit version and I can't say I've noticed a difference, and I forgot to look at memory use with the old version before upgrading. I'm useless (and very hungover :D)

well ive gone up to version 4 but I dont like how NOD is now telling me to update windows :o :o  whats with that.can you stop it doing it

It is telling you that there is/are Windows updates available for your system.

yeah  its the ones I dont want to update but why is Nod telling me when it didnt use to before.

I don't think you can stop it, Baz, essentially it's duplicating Windows auto-update feature. I find it annoying too. :(

The feature was introduced in v3.
