Why can't they get the damned thing right - or at least write small patches?

Apple software for the PC is to say the least inherently unsafe it seems, they update it more than most and over the last year there has been some very nasty security holes in it  :(

Rik

Thanks, Noreen. I tend to wait a while with iTunes releases for that reason, they often seem to bring new problems. :(

Glad I don't use an I pod, but Apple should get their act together, sometimes the updates are critical and iPod users need to update, it has to be, as I said a while back one of the more buggy and dangerous applications, even Quicktime alternative has to be updated sometimes as it inherits the critical problems of the full version of Quicktime.

I do hate Apple software, but I guess they're probably not so bothered about the PC. Maybe it's a ploy to get us addicted to Apple products, and then make us move to Mac. >:D

Lance

I think itunes gets more updates then even windows does!

Surely they could implement some kind of system whereby they can release patches. Fair enough, this time is was a whole new version of the program, but usually it's just updates.

Rik

I agree, Sebby. An 80MB patch is a bit OTT imo. :(

------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking at the screens, one might think that barely anything
changed in MailStore Home 2.7. Actually the opposite is true.

which resulted in significantly higher performance, already
noticeable when double-clicking the MailStore icon on the desktop.

* Dramatically reduced startup time
* Increased overall performance
* Simplified storage location management
* More CD and DVD recorders supported
* Now provides an option to delete an entire folder in the archive
* Tons of minor improvements and bug fixes

The new version can be installed without uninstalling anything
first. All emails and settings are automatically migrated.
