it found 3 programmes that required patching/removing.

Apple Quick Time = patched.
Skype = removed.
Adobe Flash Player = patched.

Curiously, it didn't list iTunes, which I haven't bothered to update, but did pick up on all my old Java installations, which I'm about to remove. :)

It's suggested on my American forum that people may like to download the "slim" version of CCleaner, full program without the bells and whistles. http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim
