Eight downloads for my Vista, all downloaded and no problems so far.

Oh mine went from 6 to 46%, now it has jumped back to 0% and is sitting there doing nothing.

I'm finding the same, In. I've managed this machine, but the notebook is getting nowhere. Ten on this machine, btw, with a long pause in the middle.

The notebook is just starting to install now, after me giving up the first time, killing the update and starting again. The world and his wife must be being extra dutiful this month.

However, I looked on my American forum and saw this posted at about 10am this morning.

Went without a hitch. 6 Updates, including Malicious Software Remover for Win XP Pro. Reboot required.

It's all in the timing. Two machines completed, now for the third...

Mine will not even download from the MS Updates page, only 10MB as well, just sits there.

Having had my machine trashed by a bad M$ update earlier this year  I now wait for at least 3 days before I install mine. I know by that time if there are any problems with them and the download servers are a bit quieter by then as well
