dont use such programs a lot but remind me on, that is a FF add on isnt it?

Im sure I had it and have used it but I just cant find it now :)

Rik

It is, Baz, and a very efficient FTP client, imo. If you need to get hold of it again, just click on Tools > Addons, then search. :)

Rik

Your guess is as good as mine, Baz. Possibly in the move from FF2 to FF3?

Baz

hmmm  my mistake. I must never have uploaded since joining IDNet as the details are from uploading to another site and my old ISP.

now where do I get IDNet info from if I need to upload to there

Rik

Go to your accounts page, click on free extras, then webspace. That will give you your username and password. The server is ftp://ftp.idnet.com/

presuming I have a web page set up :)   which I havent. or should there be a username and password showing. all thats there at the moment is a box to fill in with .www.idnet.com after it

Rik

Ah, well start by setting the space up and then it will give you the information. :)

FireFTP is a great addon. :thumb:

Rik

It is, Seb, isn't it. It's perfect for the FTP bits I have to do, and being seamless within FF is much nicer than having to fire up another client.

Sebby

Indeed. I don't need an FTP client installed for the little FTP'ing I do, so it's perfect. :)
