I do.  :'(

On a PC, iTunes is horrible. But it's surprisingly good on a Mac!

Seb will kick himself when he gets back from holiday and finds he missed it. ;D

The Mac got quite a few updates last night! There was also Firefox and Office 2008 Mac updates.

I do, but I know 3.1 will be along soon. And then there's Snow Leopard for my Mac... :)

Rik

And to think I only had 14 patches for this machine this month...  ;)

Steve

For those of us fortunate to have a full version of mac office 2008 (not the home and student version) Entourage is now Exchange Server compatible via the latest updates . I say updates as office has to be the latest version and the Entourage Web Services Edition is a separate download.

Why I should wish to view work related matter in this format at home I have absolutely no idea :eek4:

Do you use Entourage, Steve? I've avoided it this far in favour of Apple's Mail app.

I did initially as its similar to Outlook but now use Mail almost exclusively with the addition of a Widemail screen app to pull the preview screen to the side instead of the default's vertical position. I have installed the Web Access Services Edition on the iMac mainly to see whether it would work, which it does. However Snow Leopard should make it redundant again

Its not bad if you have the right security, iTunes was always crashing with Kaspersky I found when I got my iPhone last week, changed just to Nod 32 v4 av and just using the Windows firewall in Vista, behind the routers firewall and its working fine now, but I can imagine the experience is better on the mac, I just think its silly i cannot delete pics from my photo folders unless they are the ones in camera roll that should be universal and not something you need a pc or a mac to be able to do, maybe that will come in 3.1  :dunno:

Sebby

Not sure, Gary, I've never really had that "problem" myself.

Which "one" Sebby  ;D oh and I will say I love my iPhone so you can flog me to death now  ;) The Kaspersky one may have been because of the security suite tbh I just went for a simpler solution, and it all runs fine now still wish I could delete pics with folders I have synced from my pc rather thgan delete them from the pc then sync to remove them, its odd you can only do that from camera roll and not any other picture folder  :dunno:

Edit the the above post I meant to say its odd you can delete pictures from camera roll but not from other folders you created by syncing with "my pictures" on your pc same as you cannot delete an album from the ipod part of the phone only from iTunes the its deleted when you sync the phone, I find that kinda frustrating.

Sebby

I guess it's because, like music, they are sync'd with the phone.

Glad to hear it. It's not perfect, but it's so darn nice to use, so it's easy to forget about any minor annoyances. ;D

I agree, but its nearer perfect than other handsets I have had but the annoyances are easily forgiven  ;D
