Advice on posting links

Could someone let me know how to post a news item.for instance I am trying to post the news item from BBC relating to Wendy Alexander resignation but cant seem to get the hang of posting links..

Just copy the link from the address bar, and paste it into the post, David:

or for that news item:

Thanks Simon I don't know why but I have had problems doing this in the past  I copied and pasted yours.and it worked a treat.so I must be doing something wrong on the bbc website..do I copy the link location.I am going wrong somewhere   It must be the medication

Sometimes if I have highlighted a link I am unable to paste using the mouse right click therefore I use Ctrl +C
to copy and Ctrl+V to paste

If you highlight the link on the website, you need to 'Copy Link Location', then paste the link in the post, David.
