I have just ordered myself a ASUS - eee PC 701 4G :) Now ideally I would have loved a apple laptop, but  this isn't an ideal world. I am excited and nervous.
I have no issue with the OS been linux, as my first ever computer ran linux. I have  ordered the Netgear DG834G  router. I am presuming that will work on both my mac mini and the ASUS - eee PC 701 4G? But how do I set the router up to recognise  both computers? I am new to wireless and scared of messing up my connection. Thanks for  your help :)

Glenn

As long as the router configured to DHCP, it will issue the Mini Mac and Asus IP addresses when they power on, so you shouldn't need to configure the router any further apart from the security settings.

Let us know what it's like. :)

I will it has got good reviews :) Obviously not meant to be your main computer, but good enough for me on the move   :thumb:

It should be absolutely ideal for that. :)

Apparently you can put mac ox on it now, but it's hard to do :) The newer version comes with XP, but is 100 quid dearer

As you say, the fact it has Linux isn't an issue for you as you used to be a user, so it's probably best to say £100. :thumb:

well apparently Linix aint how it used to be seven years ago - have heard people say it's got lot like windows  so people will buy it.. I don't like the idea of having to go back to command lines lol
