I have had a pretty much trouble free experience with Vista Noreen, what problems do you mean
As said previously I like Vista and it runs well and fast generally on my laptop. One of the minor problems that I have (mentioned previously in this thread) is that the "Turn Windows features on or off" box is blank. If I click on the item, the box comes up and there is the message "Please wait" then the message disappears and nothing happens. Quite a lot of people have this problem and nobody appears to know how to rectify it except by reinstalling Vista. The box listing installed programs is OK. However at the moment I can live with it, I've had enough of messing around with the computer at the moment.

Thankfully I don't have Aero on Basic, or that would no doubt use even more resources.

You can have it if you want. ;)

HaHaHaHaHa... I decided that I don't need another computer, especially one with Vista, however tempting, now mine will die in the next few days as my 3 year warranty comes to an end. ;)

Noreen

When I did the TI v10 restore I used these easy to follow instructions, I'd downloaded and printed them out some time ago. I'd recommend them to anyone else with TI v9 or v10 and whose mind just get befuddled with the usual complicated instructions especially in such a stressful situation. http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=168165

Thanks Noreen, :thumb: I use T9, I hope that I never need the info, but certainly worth keeping.

In the instructions the writer suggests that people do a few trial runs BUT STOPPING SHORT OF PRESSING THE "PROCEED" BUTTON. Seems a good idea to me and I wish that I'd done it.

Don't forget to print them out ASAP, In. :)
