Just tried to play css and for the first time in ages my ping is stupidly high - like 150ms at the lowest - 100 being the bare minimum to play...Now this is BAD  :o :o :o

I don't do games and have interleaving on, but mine to google.co.uk average 58 to 68 tonight.
I've never found pings to be consistent here - though I never did them at Plusnet, so they might have been like that there as well.

Could it be your exchange at red?

My exchange is red again but its not effecting my pings.

Max, not being a gamer, wasn't sure what affects pings and what doesn't.

Exchange being at red doesn't mean you will have trouble anyway, just that you might. :D

Was on Wolfenstein ET last night and my pings were 30-40, so all's ok here.

Yeah, I've just gotten into it. I'm a MOH and COD etc. veteran but this is another kettle of fish. I find it a bit manic at the moment coz I always seem to be up against L337 players and they don't like to hang around and get shot like the bots in offline games.

I always played as a engineer, i never understood why other game developers didnt  introduced this game type into their multi players.
I used to enjoy the bank raid map ,great getting the big MG into the vault and defending the gold.
I might just download it again  :laugh:

Mmmmmm COD3.
It had better go some to beat BIA though, which IMHO is the daddy of all WWII games. Although I'd like to see the war from someone else's eyes other than the bloody 101st Airborne once again.

The BF series all have different player classes. 

I only played Wolf ET once or twice but used to play RtCW quite a lot.  I always played as a medic and was always very generous with the medkits.  You had to rely on having good engineers playing alongside you though to keep your meagre ammo topped up ;D
