Does anyone Know how to turn up the power on the WiFi setting on this router?
What firmware are you running?
Try here (http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm) whether it makes any difference in reality?
Oh dear version 6 on O2 access which is BT ipstream, mind you if it still works on other isps (not sure) it offers UPNP
Where can I find what firmwire is loaded.
Not using one but I think its home(192.168.1.254)>system>details
Sorry poshdosh :welc2: to the asylum :karma:
Good spot, Steve, where are my manners? :welc: :karma:
:welc: Poshdosh. :)
Firmware version 6.1.1.48.1-enh.tm
I don't think you can play with the wireless power then, sorry. :(
What firmwire version do I need to play with the WiFi power setting?
Thanks

I can't remember the number, but you want the SBC firmware. AFAIK, and I may be wrong on this, you need to have a single SSID model to use that.
If you look at the link http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm (http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm) its summarizes at the end all the firmware versions. Can you confirm wether this firmware works with idnet or not and does it have UPNP as an option
I don't think the OP is with IDNet, Steve.

Firmware version 6.1.1.48.1-enh.tm
That is the latest firmware from BT and it would appear it is not possible to flash it back to older firmwares >:(
Not that you could flash it with the SBC firmware anyway.
It may be that we'll all get a visit from the "upgrade fairy" in the future, some people already have.
