Title: Problem with 2700HGV
Post by: EvilPC on Nov 08, 2009, 14:22:12
Quick overview of my setup.

The 2700HGV is 10.10.10.1
Coming from the LAN ports on my 2700HGV are my PC (10.10.10.3) and my Windows Server (10.10.10.100)
My laptop and netbook run via wifi.

Occasionally the wifi just stops..

When the wifi stops I can still ping from my laptop to my server..  But not to the 2700HGV or the Internet.

Any ideas ???

Thanks !

Borked 2700? We've had another case recently where the wireless stopped working. Might be worth manually setting the channel to 1, 6 or 11, and also, briefly, turning off encryption.

Cheers..

I may disable the wireless on the 2700HGV and add a cheap wifi access point.

I would look at getting another 2700. Probably as cheap as a cheap wifi point!

I agree. I reckon it won't be long before the whole router fails. :(
