Hi guys,
Went to Tesco today and spotted Sandisk USB drives (16 Gb) for sale at half price (£18.34, which I though was a pretty good deal - esp since they were on the shelf next to the 8Gb model at £23.98). so I bought one.
I got it home and powered up my PC, then went to insert the new USB drive. Here's the problem.
How do I get it out of the packaging?
Steve
give it to a teenager
If it's one of those hard blister packs, Steve, I usually use a Stanley knife on two or three sides.
TY :) - Since my Stanley knife is short of blades, as is my craft knife, I went for secret option number 3 - the paring knife from my knife block. I don't know what it's for anyway, and in 5 years this is the first time I've used it :)

Teeth ;D
Poultry shears work quite well too. :)
Dynamite ;D
Makes a bit of a mess of the purchase, though. :)

I'm working on telepathic posting, Brian. ;D
I absolutely hate this type of packaging, and it's really quite dangerous to open and once open (sharp)!

Peeling pears of course ;)
Maybe one day the memory cards will be wireless and you can leave them in the packaging ;D
Oddly I had this issues with an 8Gb Sandisk SD card, even using WMD's it seemed almost impossible to get what is a small thing from a mighty and impressively impregnable package. Theft proof in shops they may be, and use proof at home they are as well :bawl:
I just hand it over to my wife
