to get down behind the desk, unplug all the cables and give the computer a dusting down.Havent done it for ages and its sounding a bit noisy.so if im not back here soon ive come across probs
;D :thumb:
Did mine the other day, Baz, and found it surprisingly clean.
yeah mines usually not bad but I had to move it a while back due to new furniture and it doesnt have as much air space around it now so I better have a look.
as a side note, got delayed a bit there had to rescue the wife from a spider walking across the floor. ::)
Better than a chicken crossing the road, Baz. :)
:grn:
anyway joking aside(if thats what Rik calls it) i'm back, dust free and sounding quiet as a mouse.
had to get in with the vacuum hose and a soft make up brush, not mine BTW, as the can of air was making a cuppa :out:
:D ;)
I do. :D
I'll let you off with that one
:ithank:
yeah...you're lucky Rik nearly got the :flamethrower: ;)
;D
I only have a laptop that gets dusted daily.
Mine does every time Sue sits on it.
Nice rik. :eek4:
;D
Cant sue sit on your desktop aswell?
It is, she says, too hard and angular. ;D
ok little to much info.
It's a big black box, with excellent ventilation. :)
Is that due to you passing wind rik?
That tends to empty rooms. :)
Gives your black box air though
Even though it makes its eyes water. ;D
i have been lazy recently and only realised the problem when my cpu was at a toasty 70c when making some compression work.
checked inside and the stock cpu cooler was clogged up - took it off and the thermal cr*p was literally baked =/ dodgy
cleaned it off, got some proper AS mx-2 on it, found my old zalman cooler and wapped it on - temps are now a nice 30c and sticking there :thumb:
time for some overclocking tho
;D
I'd expect nothing less from you Sam, now what are you going to do about fixing my machine? ;)
