I'm usually on here asking for help or whinging so I thought it only proper to report some good news too..
After 3 or 4 installation days came and went, the engineer finally turned up today and said I'm the first in the area to get FTTC.
Here's my first speed check. It's all a bit incredible really as I'm used to no more than 2MB on ADSL :o

:thumb: Good result.
I have found with FTTC that the speed will vary a lot depending on time of day.
Stop it, you're making me drool. ;D

I think MK is earmarked for FTTP rather than FTTC so if you take it up you'll get 100 Meg Rik which blows FTTC out of the water.
I see the fitting time for FTTP is 7 hours, somehow I can't see it taking off in a big way yet.
Its a very limited trial I understand, I had indicated my interest to Zen but noone could come back to me with a price once the trial was over so decided not to.
