It's a crazy world where manufacturers ignore the forces of nature and concentrate all their resources in one area. You'd have thought they would have learnt from the Japanese experience.

I bought a 1Tb Samsung drive in Novatech on Saturday, for £49.99, the same model today is now £64.98  :eek4:

Rare earth metals have been mentioned in price rises as well. I wonder if this only effects mechanical drives?
