Download speed is half normal rate today. Anything to do with World Cup mania?
As this time of day I wouldn't have thought so , even during the games I'd be suspicious as well as it's all on terrestrial TV when most people are not working.
I thought yesterday how well Idnet were doing with the world cup as I had not noticed any problems and at that time there were no reports of issues on the forum.
Is a World Cup some geological feature I've not previously heard about?
The problems will surface when England get to the later stages... Oh, wait... :)x

Speeds fine here, and has been for ages now. No issues for months. There were thunderstorms last night in some areas so that's a possibility if it caused your modem to have a noise event or you had a brief power outage.
ok here too speed wise but have had a few drops this last week and one just about 10 mins ago :(

That could be storms, your router, the line anything really. No drops here at all as far as I can tell. FTTC modems been up well over a month solid since my line went batty one afternoon and there was a cable fault. The only thing I have done since is upgrade my routers firmware. which only interrupts the PPP session, which is why I like separate modem and routers :)

It does not apply to us in Wales Clive, well at least not since 1958. Come on Trevor Ford, bang them in and show the English how to do it. :(
Still the fastest goal ever! ;D
I've only seen the goal highlights, but in comparison to the previous game, I will say... I'm shocked. They actual played football, and not "acting out injuries and pushing people over". So a great game IMO. :D
