Title: Netgear D6200 IPv6
Post by: mk1 on Jun 29, 2014, 11:49:28
Hello,

I'm playing around with getting IPv6 set up on my netgear D6200, and struggling with the list of options and which settings I should use.

The router has an automatic detect setting however it appears this does not work with IDnet? It have the following setting modes:

The only mode which appears to work is 6to4 Tunnel, with some success however I understand this is not the best option for IPv6. None of the other modes appear to pick up an IPv6 address? (It's an ADSL connection)

Any clues on what I'm missing would help.

Thanks

Note all routers work with IDNets native IPV6 sadly Netgear ones do have issues with IPV6 check for latest firmware updates, I must admit I have not tried on my R6300v2 yet and tbh cant really be bothered right now. Auto detect should work Billion routers work well with it.

IPv6 works on PPPoE only, and not older PPPoA?
