Title: freemail address's
Post by: Glenn on Dec 11, 2007, 15:14:01
Has the idnetfreemail servers been de-comissioned, only I have a few people that have tried sending me mail have had their mail returned?

i certainly hope not because all my accounts are registered to that email, i would be annoyed if they do that, however i can confirm mine is working currently, i would get them to send you the error messages they get so that you can contact support, they might have to contact their support because it could be their mail server that has the issue not Idnet's.

IDNet have been de-activating accounts that haven't been accessed for 60 days or more, Glenn. I found out when it happened to me. :) Unfortunately, they are not notifying holders or the affected accounts, or updating the accounts page to show that the account has been removed... (If you drop support an email, they will re-activate the accounts.)

The people that have told me about the problem, I have just told them to use the .com address

That's the best way I think, Glenn.
