Title: Help yourself.
Post by: maxping on Oct 01, 2006, 13:59:06
When/if you find you have high pings instead of coming straight here to post a L8NC graph try turning the router off for 30 mins then trying again.

This was suggested here in the forums by customer support ages ago and has worked for me several times.

Its not a guaranteed fix but is worth a try before coming here to  post L8NC graphs.

If you post a ping test result why not post a L8NC graph in the same post so people can see your problem.

Could people  also add  if they have tried turning the modem off for the 30 mins as discussed in my original post above?

There is no point coming here and posting ping test results if you haven't at least tried to fix the connection your end.

Could one of the mods rewrite this and make it a sticky ?

TIA.
