Now that i have migrated to Fast will my old IDNet email address cease? At the moment it is still active or is there a cooling off period before deactivation?
It will cease in due course, Andy, unless you move it to paid mail, £12pa.

Paid mail? - that's ridiculous! - What are the advantages of that? :eyebrow:
None if you don't want to keep the address. If you do, however, it's ISP independent if you move again. I pay for a domain and email separate to IDNet for that reason.

I can still get incoming mail from my old email address but can't send out.
When I was with Zen, they allowed me to use my old email address but I had to change outgoing mail to their server.

Well i quite understand that. You obviously can't send an email that has an address from a previous isp using your new one but can recieve.
Maybe i wasn't clear enough.
Will i lose the email address completely? - i.e. Will it be removed from IDNet mail servers? .... RIK?
The answer is YES ;D

Yes, it will. You should definitely consider getting your own domain as it prevents this from happening. :)
