You've seen the 3d TV screen advertised. They provide 3d images. However, with the latest Xbox gadget, one programmer is taking it a step further.
This application allows you to move the camera, after it has been recorded! It makes a full virtual scene. It's still blurry, but imagine being able to walk around your home movies, going to different places each time.

I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Here is a better example of what he is aiming for, except with moving images.

Well, I say better, in a "made out of claydoug and pasta shapes" way.

Yep. When I read the review of the site, I thought it would be a lot better.
I suppose that's why this should be exciting. There are now 3d cameras coming out on the market. Stereoscopic Digi cams, and gadgets like the Xbox Kinec, which actually scans the area with a lasar!
Add this to a 3d printer/engraving machine, and you could also build anything you take a photo of! :D

You might need an x-ray, of course.

3D Tv etc, massive 'get us to spend more' gimmick as I see it for home use tbh
Damned, if you do damned if you don't
