Anyone else having trouble with this? It seems to be a regular thing with this server. :(

I'm also getting random 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage errors' yet my router remains synced and reports no loss of connection?

I have a fixed 2meg connection, any ideas?

Simon

See the news panel on the index page.  :)  The server maintenance seems to be affecting emails too, as mine is also playing up.

Yep, any strangeness today I would say is in relation to the work on the routers.

Rik

There is a definite problem this morning due to the router failure, Ginger, but if you're having more frequent problems, we need to explore a bit.

Oh you don't want to ask! I still get funny random drops and a noisy phone line every now and then but I've learnt to live with it, life is too short to spend any more time trying to get to the bottom of that one.

I will be someone elses problem when I move house in few years time!

Hi.

Would this maintenance work have anything to do with me not being able to access Internet Explorer at all today?  I keep getting the "looking up" thingy, but then it fails to display any pages.  I've re-powered my router etc, but it's still having the same effect.  I can access the internet via Firefox, but not IE.  This has only been apparent today.  Should I be concerned, or is this connected to the IDNet maintenance stuff?

Thanks in advance.

Moonshine. :)

Sebby

That's strange. I would try clearing your IE cache.

Rik

What Sebby said, Moonshine. If one browser works, it's likely to be an issue with the browser, not the connection.

Didn't need to clear anything.....it's back again! :)  Very odd.  This seems to happen very few weeks or so, but only seems to last a few minutes at a time.  I guess I can cope with that!
