Far cry 2

I was really looking forward to Far cry 2, the first one was outstanding so i was hoping for more of the same, how dissapointed i was when i started to play, it has nothing to do with the first at all, its set in Africa this time, and what you do is run about answering phone calls or accepting short missions, a bit like grand theft auto, which by the way blows this game out of the water, i ran about at the start in pitch blackness looking for items etc, then some missions are well spaced out and you have to make it to safe houses or mission items to accept, if you cant find a vehicle it could take you ages,i would rate this game 4/10, also i thought at the start the missions were just to get you used to the game, but it seems thats all the game is about, running back and forward, anyone else played yet, would be interested in hearing your thoughts on this, so glad i didnt have to pay for the game, thats all i can say....roll on cod5

I was full of high expectation like you; and again like you a few mates who have it seem to concur with what you say. I reckon i'll give it a miss.

Equally roll on CoD5 - i just hope it ain't a mess like 3 was on the 360.
Gears of War 2 also on the 7th is on the must buy list

It had so much to live up to and has failed completely.

I have no idea why it's even considered to be a related to the original Far Cry, it has nothing in common.

It's just another poorly designed F.P.S., even the other bad new game ,S.A.S. Secure Tomorrow, is better.

Never mind, CoD5 and GoW2 have got to be better.

CoD5 beta sucks. I've given up playing it.

the movement just doesn't feel like all the other CoD games. i dont know how to explain it. its sposed to be the CoD 4 engine but just doesn't seem it.

one annoying thing is. on some multiplayer maps they have dogs that attack and kill you if you dont kill them.. it distracts you from the objective.

plus it took me 5 rifle shots to the head to kill someone and i was stood right behind the person!!

hope its not like this when its out as it will be like CoD3.
