I went down too, rebooted my router and it took a while to come back. Happened earlier too but not for as long...

No problems here, but IDNet are aware of a batch of logins at ~13:45, so something fell over, though whether it was BT or IDNet is not immediately apparent.

seems to be picking up slowly now

Noreen

Still slow for me, I had abandon a download that I was trying to do as it was soooo slow. I'm in London on GW5 if that makes any difference.

Rik

Give support a call if you're still experiencing problems, Noreen. I sense, since I haven't heard anything back since I phoned, that it's a BT issue.

I'll see what it like tomorrow, Rik. It's very unusual for my connection.

Mine happened later than everyone else.

Routerstats graph didn't show a drop, but the WAN up time had restarted.  Is this a PPP drop?

Rik

Has your sync speed altered, Drummer? If not, then it's almost certainly a PPP drop. (Is your Netgear still on BST by any chance?)

Haha, well spotted that man.  Have a karma.

Oh, and the sync is the same.

Rik

Definitely PPP then, and thanks. :) I just suddenly remembered having to manually alter my Netgears. :)

Hmm, just trying to figure it out - set to GMT and the daylight saving box is ticked but no NTP server in the blank fields.

Rik

That means it's using its defaults, just untick the DST box. :)
