I need to access one of my WebMail accounts and all I get is login failed. All others I've tried get the same message.

What's up this time?

Hi Rik

I've logged onto my IdNet account and the following is posted:

"2009-02-03 17:13:Announcement - One of our broadband access routers failed today which caused a cascade of problems through the network. The problems have been resolved and we are now investigating the cause of the failure. IDNet apologises to all our customers for the disruption to service. Whilst the work continues to re-balance our network, if you're experiencing speed problems please try rebooting your router."

Are you getting the same?

Cheers

That announcement was dated the 3rd.. long gone but yeah I keep getting problems where bits of the web won't work and email from three different servers doesn't work.  Yahoo messenger stays up though so it's not PPP down.

Arathorn

Still no go for me or would I need to close down my browser (Firefox) and clear the cache?

Arathorn

Rik

I didn't, just tried again. Are you getting a specific error?

Fine here too. I really have no idea of what's going on and haven't been able to find out.

Arathorn :)

Why don't you set Firefox to clear the cache every time you close it. It can be set to automatically delete all Private Data every time you close Fiefox. Highly recommended from a security point of view.
