I use this shareware program Ultra_DVD2MP3, no doubt there are plenty of others

is it good, easy to use. is it a trial version with some features disabled?

It's straight forward to use, the trial version limits itself to 60% of the sound file so you can try it before you buy. 

Pay the shareware fee to get an unlock key online.

There must be freeware that does a similar thing
