Even at 9:01 there's nothing going on, on a Saturday night. 400 yards down the road there will be scantily clad ladies though.

You should get a job doing CCTV  ;)

NatWest are doing an app that enables you to do view your balance, get a mini statement and do some basic account maintenance with a new app. I have my iphone set so if someone enters the code wrong ten times to get into it, it will wipe all details so I activate that if I go out to be sure, but if I lost my phone they would have to guess your chosen pin number as well.

Great basic Adobe photo shop app to crop and adjust colours on pics you have got on your phone or you can use it to take one, basic but useful, you can adjust contrast saturation etc and best of all its free  :thumb:

I want an iphone :( I'm being suckered by pointless applications. Shame I'm with 3 and have 6 months left on my contract :(

3 do have them available, but only for high retention customers.

I didn't know that. Maybe I can blag them into giving me one. Not that there's anything wrong with my current Sony Ericsson C905. In fact I think it's ace. I think I get bored too easily ;D

Hence the reason why the iPhone is so great - the apps keep it constantly interesting. :)

They don't regard £35/month as high retention though. One of the guys at work has a 'free' phone with them (Ericsson run Three's network) but even with a monthly spend on the account of £70+ they said no.

Same here, Glenn. I use a dongle and netbook if I want net access.

I use my phone for my hotmail account, browsing news sites, facebook, etc and the camera on it is really decent :)

I use my phone very much like Niall, Facebook, MySpace, browsing, Amazon (got an app for that) email etc not really worried about camera, my little Lumix works just fine and is small enough to fit in my top pocket. I try and consolidate devices now, the iPhone is great for my needs web wise, I have a great IM app (Beejive) also available for Blackberry, so I can use yahoo messenger, Windows Live messenger, AIM Google Talk, MySpace, and Facebook. Thats as much as I need, and I don't need a netbook, I simply don't travel. Having to have more than one PC or Mac updated would be just to much bother for me these days.

I've just had a nose on the "three" site and there's no sign of an iphone, or more bizarrely, my phone! Looking at O2 they want £44 a month and there's no mention of internet costs on the tariffs I just looked at. I sent 3 an email as it's just occurred to me that I've never had anything telling me the length of my contract (I imagine it's 18 months, but as it was a brand new phone at the time, it could be 24 months which means I have 11 months left), and queried the iphone and upgrading.

I doubt I'll get anywhere with it :D

It's not advertised, you have to ask for it

Are you referring to iPhone tariffs? If so, they all include unlimited data.

My Traffic is £35 with unlimited Data. Not that I use it that much with O2's stunning 3G network  ::) I wish they would expand and sort that out, because there plans are pretty good, and on the whole I like O2, they also do give good incentives to keep you if you try to leave.

I'm right on the egde of 3G here.  In fact, I can get it at one end of the flat, but not the other!

Same here. The service does seem to have more holes in it than the maps would have us believe.

The Guardian have put out a free news App, informative, you can personalise it and it has audio as well, and no damn adverts like Sky News or ITN.

It's the live date for the whole 3g network, as far as I'm aware Gary, all 98% of the population.
