Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?...

<someone@btinternet.com>: delivery temporarily suspended: host
mx2.bt.mail.yahoo.com[217.146.188.189] refused to talk to me: 421 4.7.0
[TS01] Messages from 212.69.36.238 temporarily deferred due to user
    complaints - 4.16.55.1; see http://postmaster.yahoo.com/421-ts01.html

I have some sympathy with measures taken in good faith to prevent spam but why does it take 2 days to find out an email has been blocked?  On this occasion it was time critical and I now have a lot of grovelling to restore goodwill.  I've used other email systems where if a message is undeliverable for more than (say) 4 hours the servers will alert the sender, saying "we've got a problem but we'll keep trying".

Email delivery is so important that customers need to be kept informed of problems.
If IDnet is going to be unreliable (and keep quiet) I'm moving.

It may not have been IDNet that didn't alert, Duncan. I suggest you have a word with support on 0800 0267237, as we won't be able to look at the details in a public forum.
