...my 2700, that is.  Just a red power light with a sad llittle flicker was all that remained.  Fortunately, I had a spare PSU, so tried that first, and indeed, all is now well, so as Rik has also had one go, it seems these power supplies don't last forever.  :)

Sorry to hear you had a 2700 PSU fail Simon but glad to hear that you had a spare.
Lucky for me I too have spares but I shall keep my  :fingers: that I won't need to use them!
Regards,

Les.

Rik

Two of us have in a matter of days, Les.  :shake:

We've probably had our routers for roughly the same time too.  Guess a visit to dodgy dave might be on the cards.  ;)

Den's neighbour had a 2700 PSU expire recently as well. Seems to be a bit of an epidemic going on!

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Rik

Maybe they all have a little timebomb in them, Ted. :)

Rik

They probably have a universal PSU that would fit the bill, but I haven't checked yet.

My 2700 decided to do a factory reset yesterday afternoon while I was out

These PSU failures do seem to be worryingly common. Still, at least 2700s are cheap, as are replacement PSUs.

Rik

The router is cheaper than buying a PSU from Maplin, Seb. :)
