For the first time (except when I try between midnight and 1 am) I made the top 10 in the DSLZone <8 Meg speedtests - at 17 minutes past 4 this afternoon :)
Have I lost my way?

Yes, the change of router (and whatever else has been done today at "IDNet Towers") certainly seems to have brought about a dramatic increase in throuput.

Compare the sort of figures IDNet users are getting on DSL Zone with those of other ISP's at around the same time ...  8)

I lost PPP just after 4 yesterday afternoon, things came back in about 15 minutes, I suppose. Since then, the service does seem zipper, so when the central comes on line we should all be purring softly. :)
