I've not had any calls regarding my orange phone, but that has been out of contract for around 7 - 10 years now.

I had some calls from a firm called mobiles for you or something like that, who happened to know when both of my vodafone contracts I had were up. The only way they could have got that data is from vodafone, especially as one was brought through vodafone themselves.

The police say they are collecting evidence as it's a clear breach of the data protection act - where is the prosecution of government officials that sell on data from the DVLA etc?
