just spoke to them and they gave me the service id but the same issue..

Said it might an issue with the tester or my java plugin for the browser....so trying IE as usually use Chrome

that didn'r work either.....poo.

Oh and the low download speed is due to the 10 days training.....so i'll reserve judgement just yet.

Just upgraded my WAG160N firmware to the last.......6 version behind  :eek4:

BT speed test worked....results below....IP profile 7.5mb/s  :mad:

Download speedachieved during the test was - 6877 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :14307 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 1208 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 7150 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 16.88:23.3:59.82 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.

The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes.

Really need to stop testing the speed.....down to 10mb profile now......just want the the next 9 dyas finished with.

Why does your pingtest say Be Un Limited but your speedtest say Idnet? if you are with idnet both should say Idnet, well mine do  :dunno:

Pung test was done before migration...will update soon....

One question.

My sync has dropped to 8.6mb.....is this likely to go up and down or is it going to keep going down till it's stable?

Log file on the roter shows a few disconnects during the day - is this part of training?

Sync rose to 15648 this morning but then dropped to this.....is this normal?

Rik,,,,seen my Attenuation has gone up as well to 39 from 28 this morning....

This isn't normal is it though?

Attenuation should not move, and if it does, it indicates some sort of line problem (assuming that the problem isn't the router's reporting of the figure).

No, that isn't. Possibly it's a router issue, possibly BT at work. Have a word with support.

Connector into the wall socket has "issues" every now and again have to move slightly to get a ring tone.......#1 Culprit??

Be careful with connecting and disconnecting your router to many times it will effect your profile if you do it to much.
