Is it my imagine, or is the dictionary now producing a bolder, wavier, red line under misspelt words?

 ;D

I'm convinced, even if it still can't check grammar. :)

I've spotted another change, when you open a new tab from an existing one, it places the new tab next to the existing tab, regardless of whether another tab is already open, ie 1-2-3 has become 1-3-2. Logical really.

I have gone back to 3.5.7

When I select a bookmark a blank page opens, when I click the bookmark again the page opens normally in the empty tab.

No doubt one of my Addons is causing the problem

All working OK here, and yes the red line is bolder I think Rik,  Seems ok so far on my Mac, no issues with blank bookmarks but I don't use that many add ons.
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

gizmo71

I should've seen that coming - downloaded a full 3.5.7 install yesterday whilst rebuilding my old gaming PC to be my new workstation. Always ensures instant obsolescence. ::) :D

I am not going to bother, as apparently once again my Norton Toolbar will not work with it, so I am not going down that route again until the problem is fixed.

Only difference here is my favourite skin doesn't work.

Plugins tend to come in pretty fast - I've been using the RC for several weeks and reached the point where I forgot I was using a beta version.

Grab it - dump Norton :)

Steve
Have I lost my way?

This post doesn't necessarily represent even my own opinions, let alone anyone else's

Gary

Its definitely faster, and now they will add new features instead of just security fixes, first is the one to isolate bad boy plugins, yes Adobe!

Updated, all working fine. :thumb:

Any reasons I should go back to using FF on a Mac as opposed to  Safari?

You don't need an input manager to hack safari to stop ads,  ;D Its faster than 3.5 but Safari is faster, I just think FF has a better system of good add ons, 3.6 also will be adding new features in updates rather than incremental security patches alone, have a play, for me Safari does not work with my bank which is a pain, and I have just become accustomed to its interface, Safari does some odd stuff when you try to use the dreaded green button when a web page does not fit as well, but if you are happy with Safari then not really tbh.  :)

I ended when using FF with a multitude of add-ons, many I never used, some I would think have negative impact on performance. At least Safari has little or no frills to attach.

But frills suit you so much, Steve. ;)

I think Safari is great, but there are a couple of things that it can't do but Firefox can. These are: start searching when typing (can be added to Safari with Glims) and Ctrl+S to submit a form.
