More IE problems

After having patched to the latest MS patch released for IE on Friday, on the same day another vulnerability has been disclosed to Microsoft. They are investigating and I will keep an eye out for any updates.

But take a look at the list of affected Windows platforms mentioned in the comments section. In case it moves I have copied it below

There's few on here running 64bit 7 I think,looking at the blurb it mentions 32bit kernel allowing 16bit applications to access bios .It would be nice to see MS move away from MSDOS etc

I agree. At some point, MS need to draw a line and say "we no longer support backward compatibility with earlier versions". Unfortunately, I suspect they know it would cost them dear.
