Maybe this has been posted but if it hasn't here it is: http://preview.ogilvyeurope.com/btemail/2039452/BTC/BT_Project_Mercury_Q4_10_Alt.html

Main difference is change of free call times! 6pm to 6am changed to 7pm to 7am :dunno:

Rik

Thanks, Q. I'll check whether IDNet are also changing their peak/off-peak hours (ie if this is a change by BT Wholesale or BT Retail.

We'd also like to make you aware of some changes to our prices, terms and conditions, effective from 1st April 2010. These include changing what we define as the evening call period for all types of calls: at the moment from 6pm-6am, but changing to 7pm-7am. For more details about this change, as well as changes to our call set-up fee and daytime rate, please see below.

It appears to me to be the same, but delayed by 1 hour at each end, Steve.

BT used to have "cheap rate" as being 6pm–8am. Most mobile phone companies have had 7pm–7am as their cheap rate for years.

Rik

BT also used to charge public holidays at cheap rate, but gave that up a long time ago. :(

Not sure if I am asking this in the right forum......but here goes.....

I've just been informed by BT that from 1st April they are changing their daytime charges call window from 6AM-6PM to the new times of 7AM - 7PM.  As most of my wifes phone calls are usually made between 6PM and 7PM this is a right pain as far as I'm concerned. I currently have the Inclusive evening and weekend calls package which means free calls after 6PM, but that is going to change to 7PM.

Will Idnet follow this?  I suppose it depends on how BT charge Idnet ??

Anyone know?  Might be time to change............

Ooooops!  Sorry guys, I should have read the original posting first!

Rik

I'm waiting to find out, Sparky.

IDNet have not been told anything by BT yet, but suspect that this is a change by BT Wholesale, in which case their hours will also change. More as soon as BT deign to tell them. (Nice to see the level playing field at work again!!)

Simon

It does make you wonder if BT do this just to deliberately sod people about.   :shake:
Simon.

Rik

It seems to be, even if that's what the split up was designed to avoid.
