Just ran a BT speedtest. At least I know the only way is up. :)


Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
    IP profile for your line is - 4000 kbps
    DSL connection rate: 832 kbps(UP-STREAM)  4832 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
    Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 0 kbps

Could you access the net at the time, Bill? I just wonder whether you had a stale session problem there?

Did you run a second speed test after this one? It may be that an error occured.

Back to normal. It looks like my system has a problem with its wireless card some ware. I ran a speedtest a while later and it was fine. Just have to sort the new system out now.
