Alright ladies and gents,

I'm not entirely sure im dropping from the internet well I am I guess.  Technically I've dropped but my ADSL light and PPP light stays green throughout the drop.

Its strange.  Is this a common problem for others at the moment?  Or just me.
Play Counter-Strike 1.6 online 6 years and counting. :(

I'm not exactly sure what you are meaning; but my router ADSL light never turns off, even when there is no connection it remains a steady green. The manual says it should go through some flashing sequence, but it never does. Then again my problems could be my fault considering I did mess with the light controls from the router command line. Either way if you can send/receive data I'd just ignore the lights. :P

As Adam says, if you're connection is OK, don't worry about the lights. I assume your connection is OK as you posted, but if you used dial-up, let us know and we'll start some trouble-shooting.

One thing to note is that BT did some work on Wednesday which left some people with 'stale sessions', apparently connected, but actually not. Try pinging www.idnet.net, that will determine whether you have a problem.
