I have installed Sportypal on my phone, trialling it today, I am very impressed. I just found another useful widget, Wifi Analyzer, it tells you what wifi channels are in use in your area.

There are a lot of useful apps/widgets for android (and a lot of bad ones too, but the rating system seems to work well). I have just installed a barcode reader on my android phone. It uses the phones camera to read them then finds the cheapest price on the net for you. My local PC shop matched the price of some new RAM after i scanned the barcode and found it cheaper elsewhere. The app is free and has just saved me 20 quid.

Not long, my Desire has a 1Ghz cpu, so it's not too far behind in Ghz terms from my atom based netbook.
