Looks like Zen have upped their allowances to compete with iDNet.  Apparently these are valid with Max as well as WBC.

Good to see IDNet are helping to keep the bar raised, and us customers heads above water.  :thumb:
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

It was inevitable, Tac.

I agree Rik.  NewNet will be along shortly.....

Incidentally there's a few posts in the Demon forum on TB, suggesting that Demon may have gone bust.  Can't see it myself since they're owned by Cobble and Witless, but some people seem to have lost service over the last couple of weeks.

Anybody else know anything?

Rik

I've not heard anything and, like you, I find it hard to believe, Tac.

Demon site up and appears to be advertising BB.

As for Zen the plans look good but don't I'll go back ever.

BT currently wreaking their unique brand of havoc on my line, keep losing sync every few minutes, Newnet say they have to allow provisioning day to pass before they can raise issue with BT.

Interesting, a few members of one of my forums went missing in action over the weekend and I believe they are all on Demon Internet.

They could be having major network grief.

That's generally true. BT rules, OK. :(

Looking at their web page they had connection issues on the 24-25.

I'm sure if BT were heading down the tubes (here's hoping one day soon) HM Government would be opening our cheque book to bail it out as its 'too big to fail'

Sorry, couldn't resist that.

Line still completely stuffed, Newnet now reporting fault to BT. (posting this from work)

Why do I get the feeling its going to be a long wait.

Rik

A bank holiday weekend is not on your side, unfortunately. Let's hope it's something simple they can sort today.  :fingers:

Had to push the point with them that there is a difference between slow speed and a completely unusable connection which I have at the minute.

Migrations have been pretty pain free before and when I did have a problem, factory resetting my own equipment resolved it.

They reckon that BT will reject the fault on the basis that it is still in the training period.

They put on ticket that I was adamant that fault be reported - wouldn't they be?

Errror is apparently a circuit not in sync error

Rik

They should really be dealing with that without argument, we've seen it happen before when BT have failed to build the circuit correctly.

Had low priority but raised it to high, maybe I should have gone IDNet straight away.
