BT have been working down my road today so went to ask the engineer and he confirmed the fibre install should be complete and the cabs switched on in a couple of months.

Maybe its the demographic there Lance, fast growing does not always mean money as such, also long term usage etc needs to be studied I guess to make the investment worthwhile, its growing but the proof is not there yet, just the promise, and with the cuts being made investing right now is not as favourable as it was once, especially with the changes to the bill for everyone getting 2mb connections being changed as the money is not even there for that.

I think the only reason the exchange I am on is getting it is because it serves more business than residential customers including a large shopping centre.

In MK, the driving force is the generally poor speeds due to aluminium cabling.

Been checking IDNet's packages and will compare to Zen (ended up back there as needed more IPs and more usage) when their packages come out.

I think a well heated home and some of the new outdoor super warm windproof clothing would be good, its just teh lack of light that would do it for me in Scotland, I think if your heart yearns its a message that maybe you should follow, we should all end up spending our days where we feel most comfortable and at home, being part of a tribe as such is something very human and alas also very forgotten sometimes.

I can understand that it would be mine too, the winter short days get to me down here, thats bad enough, maybe being back home may balance that though? I would have to spend some time in a place with low Winter light before I moved to know as even if it was my real home it may crush me somewhat.

I think that's a great idea, then you will know for sure if its the right thing to do, it may be just what the doctor ordered
