My statistics in the gadget seem to have reset but the RSS feed still shows the correct information....

My statistics seem to have reset - am I the only one that's seeing this?

Mine have as well and I have just logged on to post about it, but you beat me to it. I think it happened on the 17th for me. Idnet is still showing the correct figures so the problem must be with the gadget.

The problem seemed to be with the data source, not the gadget (it was displaying the data correctly, but the data wasn't including the previous days worth of usage).  Seems to have resolved itself now.

I'm thinking of redesigning the windows 7 Gadget to make it look more inline with the Android AppWidget (so basically make it smaller and prettier, with a tiny refresh icon in the top right. No need for the configuration "cog" as that's handled by the gadget api).

Any complaints? Would people prefer I gave the option / made it skinnable?

cs

I don't know what the Android one looks like, can you post a screengrab?
My only comments are that I would prefer the gadget to be a bit more 'glass' and not have the 'Refresh' in plain text

Not very "Glass" though. Although I could offer alternative backgrounds...

Implementing the rounded bars is going to be "fun" with IE as the gadget engine doesn't support the css rounded-corners styling.

The gadget is currently showing that I have 7.74g left of my peak time usage but on checking through the portal my usage is showing as 14.46g out of a 30g allowance. When I uncheck the "show remailing box" my usage is shpwing a 22.26g peak which doesn't correspond either, does the gadget not take into account the free usage for 25th-26th Dec I wonder

I'm currently not in a fit state to provide any answer other than my widget appears to have recorded nothing since midnight on the 24th. I'm not sure if that answers your question or not

Does this work with Windows 7 64-bit? I get 'This is not a valid gadget package.' error when I try and install.

Glenn

I don't know, PM tKe he will be able to confirm which versions it works with.

We had to clean up after the hack, sorry.

Any chance of restoring the link for the gadget as I have had to do a fresh install and have lost it.

Colin

Rik

Sorry, Colin, we don't have it. Drop tKe a PM, he'll get an email with the contents.

Hi Guys

Sorry about the broken links! I can't seem to attach .gadget or .apk files to this post so I'm going to try and fix the broken links instead!

Rik

We banned certain attachment extensions following the hack, sorry. :( Tell me which you want to use and I'll 'open it up'.
