Hi

Does anyone have any experience of trying to watch something on iplayer, only for the screen to stall consistently, and a message appear stating "Insufficient Bandwidth"?  Is this likely to be something to do with the BBC, my computer set up or IDNet?  I never usually download anything, and usually stream only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Moonshine.

Glenn

It maybe to do with you sync speed, but I have never come across it, someone else may know.

It's likely to be server overload at the BBC.

I'd go along with that, or maybe at the exchange. I see it occasionally on a 12000Kbps profile :eek4:

Okay, thanks very much for your help.  I guess I'll try again another time then! :)

What are you trying to watch?

Does this happen after midnight?

As I sometimes watch streams on justin.tv and it tends to lag like hell when its "off peak" bandwidth being used.. its fine during peak.

Moonshine

Hi

It's actually a Dr Who episode that my son wants to watch, and has been during the daytime, not after midnight.  I was wondering whether it had anything to do with it being school holidays....????

Thanks.

Prob likely that the individual stream is overloaded (or the node handling it) during the day.
