Same here, router synched but no internet.

Technical Ben

Same here. Net went down. Checked phone for dial tone, noticed a missed message. From IDNet! My payments have not been set up. So I panicked thinking I'd been disconected. So I'm glad to now phone or email as soon as it's back up.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

How is that freephone? Down here too in Lowestoft, not fun when you run a home server :(

I was playing MW2 on xbox when the connection went. Thought the host raged quit but noticed messages pop up on the pc so checked the router and then posted here. Currently using my iPad and mifi from three  :)

aurichie

I'm on my backup ADSL line with Zen.  ;D I think I may need to switch around and put idnet as my backup line provider.

LOL although the peeps with the evening/weekend BT packages will get free dial up on that number ;) I don't though. Not sure the load this end would cope with dial up!  Funny how things always seem to go tango uniform on a Sunday evening. Not just talk about IDNET. Hopefully, we'll all be back on again soon. It cost me a £2 topup on the dingle dangle doo to find out that it was a fault and that I had not accidently missed a payment :D

Lost net here in devon to.

Second time in a week /sigh

What is going on. Finally about to get baby boy to bed and nothing works.

Reya

I was cut out to be rich but got sewn up wrong.

T-Mobile dongles suck. Although, I cannot complain... Never used to a get any kind of signal from them around here.

This takes me back to the days of 1/2 meg BB

It's not the same though using it on a phone and we had some stuff to do this evening on pcs.

yeah, 1/2 an hour before the outage I had announced a service served from my IP to a forum :(  *wipes away egg from face*.

hells bells

Mine has gone too but I can't get into my router as it doesn't recognise my password anymore! Anyway, Simon has confirmed that its a problem with the BT hosts. Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon!
What on earth was I thinking going on to O2 Access?!
Fortunately I got rid and discovered IDNet!

.Griff.

At least this gave me a chance to try out USB tethering on my HTC Desire.. Works perfectly!

To avoid confusing my BT exchange in thinking that I have a profiling problem (i.e. keep on rebooting modem) Does anyone know if when the service comes back online, will it do so without a further reboot?

netn00b

What is usb tethering on the desire griff?

gwidnet

It sound as though BT are the culprits does anyone know how long it's likely to take to fix?
